Nestled in Howard County just south of the Patapsco River, this classic Elkridge colonial had accumulated years of chalking paint, weathered trim, and fading body color that told the story of too many humid Maryland summers. The homeowners wanted a clean slate — a bold, traditional palette that would honor the home's colonial character while giving it unmistakable curb appeal on their tree-lined street.
Our crew power-washed every surface, scraped and hand-sanded all loose material, and applied a full primer coat before laying down two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Exterior on the siding. Every window casing, corner board, fascia, soffit, and porch column was cut in by hand in a crisp contrasting white, creating the sharp definition that makes a colonial truly sing. We wrapped each day with a full cleanup — no paint chips left in the lawn, no tarps left overnight.
When we pulled away from this Elkridge home for the last time, the transformation stopped neighbors mid-walk.
